9-Hole Competition - Whiteleaf GC - 11 October 2025

Saturday saw the final 9-Hole Competition for this year at Whiteleaf GC. The weather wasn't quite as warm as had been hoped but the Course was in very good condition.

Eleven ladies took to the fairways and enjoyed both the golf and the superb views across the surrounding countryside. Even the final hole proved to be a challenge that the ladies took on in good spirit.

The Nearest the Pin was won by Jane Maddon (Chartridge Park GC) - actually on the green this time.

Division 2 was won by Jenny Webley (Whiteleaf GC) and Division 1 by Sue Blake (Whiteleaf GC). Possible home advantage does come to mind!!

Thank you to the ladies who took part, to Jackie Maher (Competitions Secretary) for her expertise and to Whiteleaf GC for hosting the Competition.

We ae currently finalising the dates for next year's Competitions and hope to see more successful games in 2026.
