9 Hole Competition - Chesham and Ley Hill GC - 2024
The second 9 hole competition took place on Friday evening at Chesham & Ley Hill Golf Club with 25 ladies playing.
It was a beautiful evening with the course in great condition. The players arrived to find that the lady members had provided home made cakes for them to enjoy both before and after playing .
The field was split in to two divisions and the winners were :
Division 1
1st Sally Gardner (Chesham & Ley HIL GC) – 21 points
2nd Sue Lawton (Flackwell heath GC ) – 17 points
Division 2
1st Jackie Collins (Chesham & Ley Hill GC) – 23 points
2nd Sally McIver (Chesham & Ley Hill GC) - 21 points
Jackie Maher ( Burnham Beeches ) received a prize for the only birdie which was on the signature 6th hole (par 3).
A huge thanks to the staff and members at Chesham & Ley Hill for the very warm welcome and to all the ladies who took part.
