National Finals - Day 2 Update

Having won their Match this morning against Norfolk the team lined up to play against Northumberland this afternoon.

However, the weather was not on the side of the golfers or indeed the supporters and lucky for us several parents were able to caddy and help keep clubs and equipment dry especially in such inclement weather.

Supporters and parents were also able to supply hot drinks on the way around the course which were greatly received by the team.

Play was suspended when it became clear that due to the volume of rain the greens could not be cleared of casual water. 

This afternoons matches will resume in the morning from where the balls were marked on the course following the suspension of play.

The matches that were previously scheduled for Sunday morning will then start once Saturday's afternoon matches have been completed.
