BB&O Junior Girls' Championships

TADMARTON HEATH GOLF CLUB

The BB&O Junior Girls' Championships, hosted this year by Oxfordshire, took place at Tadmarton Golf Club, on Thursday 17th. April. The day ran really smoothly but it was bitterly cold with strong winds. The girls coped very well but the CSS went up by 1 to 72.

There were 29 entrants in the Championship, 13 girls from Bucks. This year's winner was defending Champion, Katherine O'Connor from the Home club, who shot a six-over par 77. The next three places were all taken by girls from Beaconsfield. Charlotte Nutt had a Gross 82 to finish as runner-up and Zoe Fitz-Costa came third with an 83, on count back from Rachel Drummond. Charlotte Nutt won the Handicap Cup (Nett 63) with Annabel Dimmock coming third with a Nett 68. The hidden team event was won by the Bucks. team of Steph Gough (Ellesborough), Charlotte Nutt and Alice Richards (Beaconsfield).

In the Stableford competition Rebecca Parmenta (Woburn) came second with Megan Lance (Ellesborough) in third place.
