The County Squad has just returned from a very enjoyable and exhausting County Week at Ladbrook Park in Warwicks. The standard of golf was superb and the team had some wonderful victories. We came a very creditable third behind Warwickshire and Oxfordshire

 

The sun shone for most of the week, apart from a flash storm of torrential rain which closed the course for a short time on the final day.

 

Team spirit was wonderful and I congratulate them all on their superb golf.

 

Thanks go to our President Jen Marshall and the Executive Committee for their support, and to the loyal band of caddies. My particular thanks go Carole Weir who has put her own life and work on hold whilst dedicating herself to captaining the team.
