BB&O GOLF PARTNERSHIP

In 2004 Sport England (who distribute Lottery money to English Sport) designated golf as one of the top 10 sports in the country. Sport England have awarded golf £9million for the period 2005 - 2009. This is administered by The England Golf Partnership whose members are EGU, ELGA, and PGA with support of the Golf Foundation and Sport England. In order to implement the "Whole Sport Plan" at county level a number of pilots were initiated. As part of these the BB&O Partnership was formed in July 2005.

The Berks., Bucks. & Oxon. Partnership is an alliance between the BB&O Union of Golf Clubs, the BB&O PGA, the Berkshire Ladies County Union, The Bucks. Ladies County Union and the Oxon.
