27 girls turned up at Aylesbury Park on a beautiful summers day where the conditions were perfect although it was felt by some of the girls that a slight breeze would have improved conditions.  Last year most of the girls were called in off the course, due to thunder and lightning so it was fantastic that everyone completed their round.  Some great golf was played especially by some of the girls who have yet to receive a handicap, notably Megan McCarthy who birdied the 2nd (par 3) and Charlotte West who parred the 8th (par 3).

Steph Gough goes through as the Daily Telegraph Qualifier and Annabel Dimmock successfully retained her Summer Handicap Trophy (won last year on front 9 scores only due to appalling weather conditions).  Evie Ing birdied 3 holes while Emma Hargreaves and Charlotte Nutt birdied 2 holes.
Many people made the day a great success and a thank you goes to Robert Kimber for starting the girls, Tony Fitz-Costa for ball spotting, Andrew Marshall, Mike Whittaker, Mark West and Chris and Louise Dimmock for walking with the girls.A huge thank you goes to Jane Etheridge and Debbie Fitz-Costa for organising the day so well, which was very enjoyable for everyone.
